We have some exciting news for you about our dance instructor for this weeks waltz lesson! Mark Counsell-Short, owner of Rock City Ballroom, will be our dance instructor on Friday, August 22. One week from tonight! Join us on Friday, August 22nd, for our 4th Friday Dance Party! We will continue with our dance of the month - Waltz! Dance Lesson: Waltz from 7:00 - 7:45pm Dance Party: 7:45 - 10:00pm Dance Instructor: Daniel Felts DJ: Art Hughes Cost: $10 for members; $15 for guests (non-members) No partner requried! Relaxed dress code for the month of August. Light refreshments and soft drinks will be provided.

Last year the BLS membership voted to move membership renewal to September 1st, so its almost time to renew. Renewing your membership is a great way to support BLS! BLS membership is $30 per year for an individual and $50 per year for a couple residing at the same address. Membership perks include discounted admission to each of our regular dances and free entry into the yearly membership meeting in November.
